Our standard pull out shelves are made with 1/2" thick baltic birch ply with a uv coating

Corners are rabbet jointed

Bottoms are a choice of white melamine or birch ply both 1/4" thick

Standard shelves are made 1" less than the opening to accommodate the drawer slides

Standard slides are available in 22" depth

Our Dovetail pull out shelves are made with 5/8" thick solid birch with a uv coating

Corners are dovetail jointed

Bottom is 1/4'" birch uv coated

Dovetail Measuring

Dovetail Slide-Out Shelves have product-specific measuring requirements. Do not automatically subtract 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", or any other amount from your cabinet opening.

Before ordering, use the Measuring Guide on the specific Dovetail product page. The required deduction and finished shelf size may vary depending on the Dovetail product and slide system selected.

The dovetail drawer comes standard with soft close undermount concealed drawer slides that are capable of being attached directly to the base of the cabinet where as the standard shelf the soft close is an option and requires mounting brackets to attach the drawer to the base of the cabinet

The dovetail drawer comes with hardware to attach the drawer to rear socket where the standard shelf requires additional brackets

The dovetail drawer has undermount concealed slides where the standard drawer has the slides mounted on the side of the drawer

IMPORTANT DOVETAIL CONSTRUCTION NOTE

Dovetail joints are located on the sidewalls of the drawer, not on the drawer front. The drawer front should be clean with no exposed dovetail joints. Dovetail pins and joints should be visible only on the sides of the drawer.
